Asked your mother who is always at home if she's fine with it? Or asked your brother how his school is going on? Or simply asked yourself, is everything going on in life according to plans? We are now in a world of advancement where things got a lot easier. Before, we waited for the mailman to deliver the letters from our loved ones to update us with their status, and it usually takes more than a week or a month, but now in 2019, it will only take less than an hour to know the whereabouts of someone through text messages, email, social media and a lot more means. Eating and buying our favorite food take less than an hour since some are already 'instant' or pre-cooked food. Libraries are not anymore crowded compared before since students are using the internet such as Google through their cellular phones to search for anything. This advancement provided us comfort in our daily lives. Everything is fast-forward however for some this resulted to so much stress and pressure.

I have the chance to meet a friend and eventually asked how her life is going on. She has a lot of stories to tell, but one thing I know is that she is 'drained, tired and exhausted', and this is known as "Life's Crisis". We are so worried about our family, career, business, relationships, which entails bigger responsibilities. We think that life is a fast-paced race where we wanted to get ahead of the others. We fear of our future, of losing the battle, and not doing what is expected. You are not alone. You have the same struggles with thousands of people out there.

Here are the insights and life lessons I get from my friend that may help you deal with your situation right now.

1. Choose your circle.

Surround yourself with people that will lift you up, with positive outlook in life and with the attitude of perseverance and determination. It's not about having a lot of people around you. It is better to have a small circle like one or two persons, because what matter most are those that remain true in front and behind your back during your ups and downs. You can never go wrong with the people who will support you all throughout the battle.

2. Remember the reason or the goals behind your battle.

We have different struggles in life may it be in relationships, finances, career, or family. Whatever and whoever it is, you need to encourage yourself to fight and face every circumstances and to keep being reminded of your inspirations in doing and fighting so hard to win the battle.

3. Stay focus.

Focus on yourself and on your battle. Do not compare your struggles with others because we are raised differently and lived in different environments. Never judge others but help and support one another. Know your priorities. We have our own timeline, take time to think, plan and do not rush into decision. Take it step by step and focus on your goals.

4. Go out and have time for yourself.

It's never a mistake that you reward yourself. Take time to go out, see a movie, have a sip of coffee, go to the beach, buy your favorite food, go to the spa or simply watch your favorite Television channel at home. If you have given time to simply attend to your personal needs, you will be refreshed and can think of better solutions to the situation. You will be surprised of yourself.

5. Pray and give thanks.

ree

Prayer is the most powerful tool you must never forget. We pray to seek His guidance. We pray to entrust all the worries, struggles, problems we have to the most powerful being. This may be difficult to some but I know for sure that this is the ultimate resolution to every situation. Give thanks despite all the heartaches, disappointments, struggles you have been through. This is His way of preparing you for something bigger and better.

These are just some tips we can apply in our daily lives. It will always depend on our own personalities, attitudes and life's outlook. We may not be in the same timeline, some are now in their peak of career and businesses, and some are still earning hard for their families. Whatever it may be, I am sure we will end up victorious in this life we have. Whatever it takes, take the risks, believe in yourself and trust the process.
